主编《白塞病新概念》、《中国骨关节炎十年》、《风湿病学临床实践指南》专著三部，副主编著作《临床疾病诊治最新进展》、《现代风湿病药物治疗学》、《内科症状鉴别诊断学》3部，参编《实用内科学》等著作30余部；截止2021年10月8日发表学术论文198篇，SCI论文56篇。负责国家自然科学基金面上项目3项“81072478、81273298和81871276”、上海市科委重点科研课题 (05JC14034)、中华医学会专项基金(08010260104) 、上海申康医院发展中心白塞病科技创新课题、第二军医大学重点教学改革科研课题、上海卫计委2015-2017年度罕见病（白塞病）重点攻关项目（2014ZYJB0010）等共21项。

白塞病的重新定义，已经积累了丰富的临床经验，中国28位中西医专家已经达成共识，科研论文得到国外临床和科研专家的肯定。目前，新定义：白塞综合征又称丝绸之路病，是一种以复发性口腔溃疡为最常见首发症状、逐渐伴发外阴溃疡、结节性红斑、毛囊炎等皮肤粘膜病变为基本临床特征，可能逐步选择性发生眼炎、肠溃疡、主动脉瓣返流、静脉血栓、动脉瘤、动脉狭窄、关节炎、神经损害或血细胞减少症等1～2个寡器官损害的变异性血管炎。并率先将白塞病分为皮肤黏膜型白塞病、眼白塞病、肠白塞病、心脏白塞病、血管白塞病、神经白塞病、血液白塞病和关节白塞病共8个临床表型。
