郭玉兴，男，河北唐山人，九三学社社员。现为北京大学口腔医院口腔颌面外科主任医师、副研究员、副教授、博士研究生导师。2022年曾兼职北京大学国际医院口腔颌面外科副主任。2023年2月开始担任北京大学口腔医院-保定市第二医院口腔专科医联体项目负责人，保定市第二医院口腔院区学术院长。2024年7月起兼任华北理工大学口腔医学院硕士研究生导师。2016年至2018年于美国南加州大学牙学院进行访问学者学习，专注于BMP信号通路为介导的颅缝微环境、牙源性干细胞调控和骨稳态免疫调控研究，并进行3D生物打印材料修复临界骨缺损的相关研究工作，发表5篇高水平SCI文章和1项美国专利，相关研究工作发表Bone research、International journal of Oral Science、Development、Journal of Dental Research、Bio-Design and Manufacturing和ACS biomaterials science & engineering杂志发表。 多年从事口腔颌面肿瘤（口腔癌，舌癌，牙龈癌等；腮腺肿瘤）、颌面组织缺损修复（舌缺损，下颌骨缺损）和药物相关性颌骨骨髓炎（唑来膦酸、地舒单抗、安罗替尼、仑伐替尼、贝伐珠单抗）的临床与基础研究。 Dr. Yuxing Guo earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) from Peking University School of Stomatology (PKUSS) in 2013. Since then, he has been a dedicated practitioner and researcher at the OMS Department of PKUSS, one of China’s top five institutions specializing in oral cancer treatment. Dr. Guo further advanced his expertise through a prestigious fellowship and postdoctoral training at the Center for Craniofacial Molecular Biology, Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, where he conducted groundbreaking research on the interaction between mesenchymal stem cells and osteoclasts, resulting in high-impact publications. His clinical practice is highly specialized in oral and maxillofacial oncology and rehabilitation, as well as the clinical management of medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ). Dr. Guo is recognized as a leading expert in MRONJ treatment in China, developing personalized therapeutic strategies based on MRONJ staging and patients’ individual drug-use histories.He also assesses teeth extraction risks for individuals at potential risk of MRONJ based on their medication history and strategically removes non-restorable teeth (e.g., root remnants, residual crowns, and split teeth) according to risk stratification, thereby preventing odontogenic infections that could trigger MRONJ. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Guo is actively engaged in basic research, focusing on cancer stem cells, drug resistance mechanisms, and bony invasion in oral squamous cell carcinoma. His research has been consistently supported by competitive grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and internal funding from Peking University Health Center and Peking University Hospital of Stomatology. With over 20 English publications in leading maxillofacial surgery journals and an equal number of Chinese publications, Dr. Guo has established himself as a prominent figure in his field. His work bridges cutting-edge research with clinical innovation, significantly contributing to advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
