术前注意事项 Notes before surgery

1、无出血性疾病以及心肺肝肾等重要器官活动性或进行性疾病，如患有高血压、糖尿病或传染性疾病等患者需在病情控制平稳后手术。长期服用类固醇激素和阿司匹林等药物者，最好能在术前一周停用，请咨询相关医生。

Please ensure that there is no bleeding disease and active or progressive disease of vital organs (such as heart, lung, liver and kidney) in your body before the surgery. If you are a patient suffering hypertension, diabetes or infectious diseases, the surgery should not be done until your condition is under control. In addition, if you are a patient taking steroids and aspirin for a long time, you’d better to discontinue them one week before surgery, and you may consult your doctor if necessary.

2、如有以下唇部情况者建议暂缓手术：唇部存在口腔溃疡、毛囊炎等感染灶，急性炎症等。

It is recommended to suspend the surgery if the following lip conditions exist: oral ulcer, folliculitis and other infection lesions, acute inflammation. Please consider the surgery after the relevant conditions are stabilized.

3、女性患者手术请避开月经期；妊娠前期（3个月）和妊娠后期（3个月）暂缓手术。

The female patients should avoid surgery during menstruation, and the surgery should be suspended in the early stage of pregnancy (first trimester) and the later stage of pregnancy (last trimester).

4、如有以下情况：上颌骨前突、红唇外翻等，手术效果可能欠满意，需要当面评估手术效果，慎重考虑。

It is not recommended for surgery if the situations such asprotruding jaw, everted vermilion.

5、术后2-3月之内切口可能略红，触之稍硬，偶有瘙痒，建议此段时间内避开重要社交场合。之后逐渐恢复，稳定后一般社交距离不易看出，但极个别瘢痕体质患者除外。

Due to the existence of swelling, scar, unnatural expression and other conditions after the surgery, there will be a period of facial recovery, so please avoid recently important social occasions when arranging the surgery.

6、其它术后可能出现的风险：切口疤痕、两侧轻度不对称等。

There may be some side effects along with the surgery, including incision scar,asymmetry etc, which will be subject to the actual situation of individuals.

麻醉方式 Anesthesia

局部神经阻滞麻醉：手术部位局部注射麻醉剂，不另收费。

Local nerve block anesthesia: local injection of anesthesia at the surgical site without additional charge.

静脉全麻辅助：手术时间长、部位多、或对疼痛耐受差者，静脉给药，无需气管插管，另收费（根据手术时间长短1500-3000元不等）。

Intravenous general anesthesia assistance: it is applicable to such patients with long surgical time, multiple sites or poor pain tolerance. Intravenous medication is applied without endotracheal intubation, and there will an additional charge (between 1,500 and 3,000 RMB subject to surgical time).

术前准备 Preparation before lip surgery

1、常规检查：(可手术当天做，局麻者无需空腹，静脉全麻者空腹化验；外地患者为节省时间也可以先在当地三级医院提前完成，3个月内有效)

Regular test:

局麻手术者：血常规、尿常规、凝血四项、美容免疫四项（乙肝、丙肝、梅毒、艾滋）；

For localanesthesia:routine blood test，routine urine test，coagulation function，screening of infectious diseases

静脉全麻手术者：上述6项、肝肾功能、空腹血糖、心电图、胸片

Forgeneral anesthesia: The above andblood biochemistry，ECG，chest X-ray

2、选择局麻者正常饮食，选择静脉全麻辅助者术前6小时禁食、4小时禁水

A 6-hour ambrosia and a 4-hour water deprivation before surgery are required for patients under general intravenous anesthesia.

3、术前注意术区清洁，剪短鼻毛与胡须，勿化妆

Keep the face clean, cut thenasal hair and beard. Do not make up.

4、准备术后用药：冰袋2-3个、消肿药（1周量）、止疼药（1-2次）、外用祛疤膏（3月量）

Medication preparation after surgery: ice pack, painkillers (on the night after surgery), detumescence medicine (within 1 week after surgery), mouthwash (within 1 week after surgery), anti-scar ointment (from the 3rd day after suture removal), anti-inflammatory medicine (if necessary).

术后注意事项 Post-operative Care

1、术后立刻唇部冰敷30-60分钟，之后3天内每天冰敷3-4次，每次30-60分钟

Ice compress on lips between 30 and 60 minutes should be done immediately after surgery, and then ice compress 3 or 4 times a day between 30 and 60 minutes each time should be conducted within 3 days thereafter.

2、术后当晚可能术区会比较疼痛，必要时可以服用止疼药或安眠药帮助睡眠。

Antibiotics are not required unless otherwise requested. Pain may be severe on the surgery day or the first day after surgery. You may take painkillers before sleep if necessary.

3、 当天进冷流食。 2天后正常饮食，但术后1周内忌烟酒、鱼虾、辛辣刺激食物。

Regarding post-surgical diet: the cold liquid diets should be taken on the surgery day. The soft food is preferred within 1 week, and tobacco, wine, fish and shrimp, spicy and irritating food should be avoided. Mouthwash should be used after meals, and tooth-brushing should be avoided to the maximum extent.

4、术后5天拆除全部缝线。切口在拆线前保持清洁，可以涂抹红霉素软膏保持湿润。

Suture will be removed 5 days after surgery. Keep the incisioin clean before stiches removal.

5、1周内唇部避免夸张表情，尽量少说话，避免大笑以及用力哈欠。可以刷牙，但注意轻柔，勿触碰伤口。

Within 1 week after surgery, the exaggerated expressions on lips should be avoided, please speak as little as possible, and laugh and yawn should also be avoided.

6、 术后术区出现水肿、青紫、淤血等，属于正常现象，一般1-2周逐渐消退，如希望肿胀尽快消退可在术前1天开始服用消肿药。

Edema, bruising or congestion in the post-surgical area is normal phenomenon. Generally, the edema is the most severe between 2 and 3 days after surgery. If you want the edema to be subsided quickly, you may take the detumescence medicine for about 1 week from the surgery day. Most of them will gradually subside after 1 or 2 weeks, but if swelling, congestion, increased pain or bleeding is found, please contact the doctor immediately.

7、个别案例拆线后可能出现切口表层裂隙、局部小缺损或者结痂等，一般3-5天自行恢复，可局部涂抹红霉素软膏；个别案例可能出现皮下可吸收线（白色线结）外露，可联系医生拆除。

Some sutures may fall off when edema occurs. Generally, it will not cause an open wound, so please do not panic, and it will only need to take out the suture. Contact a doctor immediately in case of open wound.

8、外用祛疤膏可在拆线愈合后3天开始用，待祛疤膏干结形成保护膜以后，表面可以化妆。瘢痕一般在术后3-6个月左右稳定，尽量减少夸张表情活动，以及外用祛疤膏预防。如仍较明显可能需要进一步治疗：鼓起增生者可以疤痕内注射含激素的祛疤针，平坦或者凹陷的疤痕可以后期激光减淡。

Anti-scar ointment is recommended externally 3 days after suture removal, and continuously applied for about 3 months. If there is dense hyperplasia scar above the lip surface, the steroid hormone can be injected locally (once a month) for softening.

9、由于术后两侧恢复速率可能存在差异，短期内轻微不对称可能比较常见，一般彻底恢复后能逐渐不明显；另外个别案例术后可能存在局部欠平整，一般随疤痕软化后会缓解流畅，最终效果可在术后至少3月以后再评价，如果存在矫正不足或过度、不对称或者局部不满意，如彻底恢复后仍存在可在半年后再次修复。

Asymmetry may occur in a short period after surgery due to the inbalance recovery. The final result should be evaluated at least 6 months after operation. Revision could be performed if necessary.
