郭玉兴,男,河北唐山人,九三学社社员。现为北京大学口腔医院口腔颌面外科副主任医师、副研究员、副教授、博士研究生导师。2022年曾兼职北京大学国际医院口腔颌面外科副主任。2023年2月开始担任北京大学口腔医院-保定市第二医院口腔专科医联体项目负责人,保定市第二医院口腔院区学术院长。2024年7月起兼任华北理工大学口腔医学院硕士研究生导师。2016年至2018年于美国南加州大学牙学院进行访问学者学习,专注于BMP信号通路为介导的颅缝微环境、牙源性干细胞调控和骨稳态免疫调控研究,并进行3D生物打印材料修复临界骨缺损的相关研究工作,发表5篇高水平SCI文章和1项美国专利,相关研究工作发表Bone research、Development、Journal of Dental Research、Bio-Design and Manufacturing和ACS biomaterials science & engineering杂志发表。
多年从事口腔颌面肿瘤(口腔癌,舌癌,牙龈癌等;腮腺肿瘤)、颌面组织缺损修复(舌缺损,下颌骨缺损)和药物相关性颌骨骨髓炎(唑来膦酸、地舒单抗、安罗替尼、仑伐替尼、贝伐珠单抗)的临床与基础研究。
Yuxing Guo, MD is a graduate of Peking University School of Stomotology, where he also attended his postgraduate studies, where graduated Hebei Medical University School of Stomotology with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Dr.Guo trained at the Peking University Hospital of Stomotology in Beijing at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. During his residency, he was able to carry out many operations of oral and maxillofacial oncology and rehabilitation, such as oral oncology resection, neck dissection, free flaps harvest, while simultaneously completing a clinical research of navigation-guided surgery. He eventually was licensed and began his career as a maxillofacial surgeon there. Afterwards, he completed a fellowship and postdoc training at Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, Center for Craniofacial Molecular Biology, with a publication related of the interplay between mesenchymal stem cells and osteoclast.
Dr.Guo has been practicing in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Peking University Hospital of Stomotology in Beijing since 2014, one of the top five oral cancer hospitals in China. His practice focuses on oral and maxillofacial oncology and rehabilitation, clinical treatment of medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ), and basic research of cancer stem cells, drug resistance and bony invasion of oral squamous cell carcinoma. His research has been supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Peking University Health Center, and Peking University Hospital of Stomatology. One of his hobbies is mentoring younger students and devotes time to running teaching and educational seminars for young students interested in the sciences and medicine. He currently has 10 English publications in maxillofacial-surgery field journals and over 10 Chinese publications. He is listed as an expert to treatment of medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ) in China, currently according to therapy management dependent on MRONJ staging tailored to a patient’s individual drug-using history.
Currently, Dr.Guo holds certification from the Oral and Maxillofacial-Head and Neck Cancer Committee of the Chinese Stomatological Association as a young border member. He was also awarded by Qiu Wei Liu Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Development Foundation, and Science Technology Improvement Award of Science Research Achievement Award in Higher Education Institution of China for his contributions to navigation-guided surgery developments in the field of skull base tumors.
