关于第六届世界肢体重建大会延期一年在北京举办的通知

各位朋友、各位同道：

因全球新冠疫情的大流行，原定于2021年在墨西哥举办的第五届“世界肢体重建大会”，延期一年于2022年10月12-15日在墨西哥滨海城市坎昆召开。鉴于全球疫情仍呈高发态势，中国疫情防控形势严峻复杂，经国际肢体延长与重建协和中国组委会研究决定，原定于2023年9月在北京举办的第六届“世界肢体延长与重建大会”（6th world combined congress of the ASAMI-BR＆ILLRS Societies）将延期一年召开，于2024年9月在北京举办，真诚希望届时国际旅行恢复正常，有更多的新发现与同道分享！此通知已经告知国际组委会相关领导、墨西哥组委会、境外国家肢体延长与重建协会及相关同道们。

作为国际“ASAMI＆ILLRS”大家庭中的一员，我们希望这个世界拥有一个平安健康的未来！我们相信国际社会能够通过及时预防、通力合作和精诚团结早日战胜疫情，展开一个无障碍开放交流的世界。

Dear friends and colleagues,

In the light of COVID-19 pandemic, the 5th World Congress of the ASAMI-BR ＆ ILLRS Societies has been postponed to 12th-15th October 2022 in Cancun, Mexico.

The 6th World Congress of the ASAMI-BR＆ILLRS Societies is to be held in Beijing in September 2023. However, in view of the ongoing high risk of global COVID-19 pandemic and the complicated prevention and control requirements for international travelers into China in the foreseeable future, as well as to consider a 2-year time lapse between the 5th and 6th World Congress, the organizing committee of 6th World Congress has decided to postpone the 6th World Congress of the ASAMI-BR ＆ ILLRS Societies to September 2024. We sincerely hope by then the international travel will resume to normal and our colleagues will have more new discoveries to share!

We hereby inform the board of international committee of ASAMI＆ILLRS and all national limb reconstruction societies and friends for this decision, and we shall keep all informed with updates on the 6th World Congress of the ASAMI-BR＆ILLRS Societies Beijing 2024!

As the ASAMI＆ILLRS family, we wish for all the world a safe and healthy future. We sincerely believe that international community can overcome this pandemic through timely precautions, intense cooperation, and solidarity.
